Today I’m talking with yoga teacher, birth doula and mom Samantha Harrison.
I’m really excited to share this conversation with you because we talk about not only Samantha’s background as a yoga teacher (thanks to Starbucks!) but her own personal journey and relationship with exercise and body image.
Like many of us, Samantha came from a place of exercise as punishment and she shares how her yoga and strength training practice has transformed that over time. And how she helps her clients work through those same challenges as well.
We also get pretty candid about body image, especially in the context of working within the wellness/fitness industry and why it’s so important to normalize how bodies change over time, especially post partum.
And there’s also lots of fun content around why movement (not just exercise) is essential and how to get going with this shift in mindset.
