Don Barksdale was a true pioneer of basketball. He was the first black player to be a college All-American, the first to play basketball at the Olympics, and the first to make an NBA All-Star Game. And aside from basketball, he found such success as an entrepreneur and club owner that most of his friends never realized he played professional ball.
