As a leader, you cannot always be sweet and kind and patient and forbearing. There will be times that require you to be bold, firm, blunt, unpopular and unflinching. You might even have to ask God to help you harden your heart so you can gird up your loins like a man and do what needs to be done. If you cannot do this, you do not deserve to be in a position of leadership.
