This week we will be kinda touch on something new, and a topic that we both personally didn't know too much about until this week, which is the Silver Alert.

Similar to an Amber Alert (like we talked about in a previous episode), a Silver alert is an alert system created when there is a missing senior citizen. 

What is the criteria for the alert to be triggered in your state? Well the criteria does vary from state to state, but there is a broad list of things that stary consistent:

-A silver alert is usually issued to someone who is 60 years of age or older, however in certain cases in the individual is younger (or a child) it might meet the criteria of activating an alert. 

- Mental health disorders - a persons cognitive ability is affected in a certain way

-Physical health disorders - a persons physical ability is affected in a certain way
