Is it morally, ethically and Biblically wrong for able-bodied people to stay home and collect free money instead of going back to work? Were COVID unemployment subsidies right or even necessary at first? Are they right today? Is it really difficult for employers to find workers? What happened to honor, responsibility and work ethic? What is the Biblical view of, "work?" Since collecting free money instead of working is, "legal" does that mean that, Biblically speaking, the voluntarily unemployed are not violating the principle of, "obeying the governing authorities?" Are they violating other Biblical principles? Do we have a moral, ethical and Biblical duty to work for money if the government says we don't have to?
