Tim Legler serves as the lead NBA analyst on ESPN and ABC, appearing as part of the broadcast team for the league’s biggest events, including the NBA Finals. Following his 10-year NBA career, Legler joined ESPN in 2000 and regularly contributes to NBA Today, SportsCenter and additional news and information programming.
The sharp-shooting guard rose from the ranks of the CBA to NBA after leaving La Salle University in 1988. He played for five NBA teams – the Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz, Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks and Washington Wizards.
In his first season with the Washington Wizards, Legler burst into the national spotlight at the 1996 NBA All-Star Weekend when he won the three-point shooting contest.
Legler received an MBA degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002.
