After over 30 years of service to the state of Georgia Justice System, Phil's dad retired. However, in his "retirement," he found himself more active than ever. His newfound time allowed him to serve on several boards and give talks around the country on juvenile justice reforms. When Phil gently reminded him that he was in his 70s, his dad replied with two comments.
