Due to the public’s overall fear of the unknown, groups were formed in hopes of combating what many citizens believed to be a real threat. Despite good intentions, a monster was hidden in plain sight when Cecelia Steyn infiltrated a Christian organization, convincing members to join her in her mission instead. What would soon unfold was nothing short of a hurricane of deception, betrayal, and gruesome murders, marking this story as one of South Africa’s most horrifying cases to date.
