In iconic Transylvania sits a forest that, since the Neolithic era, has remained singular in its intrigue and in its looming terrors. Visitors to the Hoia Baciu forest reports a variety of mysterious experiences, from spotting strange lights and structures in the sky and seeing shadow people on their periphery, to exiting the forest with unknown wounds or having experienced lost time, the sounds of chattering teeth and giggling children swirling on the wood all the while. In early 1960’s Detroit, a young family moved into an unassuming rental home only to discover an unwelcome tenant: a horrible, hissing hag that terrorized them in their sleeping and waking hours. A presence verified by the family and multiple visitors to the home, the hag seemed to have a special fixation on the back room of the home, haunting and hissing in the night much to the horror of anyone who slept there.
