Paul Jewell is a veteran of the electricity industry, witnessing its transformation from nationalisation to privatisation. He has observed the split between supply companies and network operators, resulting in a more efficient and competitive market. One of the exciting developments he has seen is the government's commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050, with a roadmap focusing on decarbonising heating, transport and utilising electricity as the clean energy source of the future. After three decades in the industry, Paul is amazed by the continuous advancements and upcoming opportunities for electricity in the UK and has become deeply involved in the industry's positive changes and innovative developments.
