Ryan shares his journey from electrical apprentice to leading one of London's most proactive local authority EV charging programmes. With nearly two decades of experience in electrical infrastructure and public services, Ryan brings a strong focus on people, residents, and practical delivery to the EV transition.

Liz and Ryan discuss how Southwark Council has built one of the UK's largest borough charging networks, with over 1,800 charge points already installed, largely through lamp-post charging solutions and concession partnerships. Ryan also explains why the council is now developing an owner-operator model, enabling the authority to keep charging affordable rates for residents and reinvesting revenue into the network.
