Performance Through Health

Episode 62 - Training For A 1000 Mile Walk Across Alaska with Dan Cooper

Listen Later

Dan Cooper is a resilience researcher, ex SAS and extreme adventurer. The other month we sat down together and discussed resilence for 90 minutes and did not get the opportunity to talk about his upcoming adventure.

The Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, more commonly known as The Iditarod, is an annual long-distance sled dog race run in early March. It travels from Anchorage to Nome, entirely within the US state of Alaska.

In this episode, we talk about Dan's training and preparation for this monstrous 1000 mile walk in temperatures as low as -40C.

A chat for any of the cold exposure fanatics out there.
