When you see amazingly talented people - businesswomen, athletes, artists - it can be difficult to imagine that they ever lacked self-esteem.
In fact, many of these people (maybe all?), have questioned their own abilities and self-worth, but few talk about it openly.
Visionary artist Joan Marie is a fabulous example of a woman who for many years just didn't recognize how GREAT she was.
When you see her stunning representations of eyes and animals - and the mesmerizing videos of her creating these - it's difficult to imagine that the stern words of a highly respected college art professor rang repeatedly in her head and almost crushed her confidence and creativity.
In my uplifting conversation with Joan, she spoke about the power of being present in the moment to overcome self-doubt and just be happy.
In Episode 67 of the Sasuga! Podcast, you'll also hear
Joan also has something very special for Sasuga! Podcast listeners.
Enjoy!
