1988. American Carolyn Abel, 26, is brutally murdered in her apartment in Seoul, South Korea. As police investigate, they find evidence that points to a fellow expat as Carolyn’s killer. Over three decades, police on both sides of the Pacific have fought to have Carolyn’s murderer brought to justice, and her case has lead to law changes that could protect other Americans abroad. This is Carolyn’s story.
