Part 1:
We talk with Matt Angle, who is a veteran of national and state Democratic politics with a proven record of success. Over his more than 30 years as a political professional, including his tenure as Chief of Staff to former Rep. Martin Frost of Texas and as the founder and director of the Lone Star Project, Angle has won a reputation as a shrewd and practical problem solver.
We discuss the gerrymandering in Texas, and the actions of the Texas Legislature Democrats who have left Texas to protest the assault on minority voters proposed by the Republicans to create five new districts to benefit Republicans and freeze out minority voters.

Part 2:
We talk with Jeff Bryant, who is the lead fellow of The Progressive's Public Schools Advocate project, and a writing fellow and chief correspondent for Our Schools, a project of the Independent Media Institute.
We discuss ho the Republicans are working to defund public schools across the country. This includes the elimination of the Department of Education, whose job it is to monitor schools. This is to increase private schools who are free to discriminate for any reason, with no oversight, even as they benefit from tax moneys.
