The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Allah the Exalted created one hundred mercies, placing one in the world between a mother and her child and between animals. By this one portion, they show one another compassion and mercy. He reserved ninety-nine mercies with Him.“ [Narrated by Imam Ahmad and al-Hākim]

اللهُمَّ مَغْفِرَتُكَ أَوْسَعُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي، وَرَحْمَتُكَ أَرْجَى عِنْدِي مِنْ عَمَلِي

Transliteration: Allāhumma maghfiratuka awsa‘ min dhunūbī wa raḥmatuka arjā ‘indī min ‘amalī

Translation: O Allah, Your forgiveness is more immense than my sins and I have more hope in Your mercy than in my own actions.
