Welcome to Episode 82 where I'm joined by sculptor, World Archery world 3D longbow champion and now philosopher, Ian Edwards. We talked for almost 2 and a half hours about Ian's recent sharing of his philosophies, his preparation to defend his world title and how how balancing work, archery and family commitments means that he will have to miss out on this years Lancaster Archery Classic. We also talked about the work that he is doing with the Archery GB 3D Squad, organising seminars with leaders in their fields and training days which are not only open to squad members, but to members of any of the other main archery governing bodies who want to improve their skillset. This helps to raise funds for the squad members to travel to and compete in international events, because like many other international archers from around the globe, the national squad for 3D & field archery are primarily self funded.
