The stepfather of missing teenager Amy Fitzpatrick, who served a sentence for the manslaughter of her brother Dean, has been acquitted on charges around an alleged violent assault shortly after his release from prison after witnesses failed to show up and the alleged victim couldn’t attend a courtroom.
But the latest saga in the life of Dave Mahon, who still has the support of the siblings' mum Audrey has placed the focus back on tragic Amy and her disappearance in Spain on New Year’s Day 2008.
