Anja's love of Jeeps started with her yellow YJ in the 90's, being one of a very limited number of Jeep owners in Germany at the time. Later she switched to a TJ, again yellow but the complicated handling of the traditional soft top but a bit of a damper on her Jeeping enthusiasm over time. Fast forward to 2017, by then living in Atlanta GA with her family, when her husband Chris suggested buying a JK2door for their oldest daughter 16th birthday. The memory of getting stranded in the rain and pinched fingers from the OE soft top, was still very present, so they decided to look for a more convenient top alternative. That's when they discovered myTop. They loved the idea of the product, and saw it's potential but had ideas for improvement of the engineering as well as the positioning in the aftermarket Jeep scene. Chris had been working in automotive manufacturing the past 20 years and Anja's background had been in Sales & Marketing.
