Late last week, general counsel for the University of Idaho sent an email to all employees advising them not discuss, promote, or make referrals for abortion or birth control, lest they run afoul of the No Public Funds For Abortion Act, a state law passed in 2021 that prohibits the use of public assets or employees to promote or provide abortion services.
