We’ve done it. We’ve made it to 200 episodes. I would’ve laughed at you if you had told me when we started this that we’d get this far. But now that we have, the ultimate long-term plan has come to its fruition. We’re finally watching Trollhunters.

I never would’ve guessed 4 years ago that we would make it to 200 episodes and, barring disaster, that seems like where we’re headed. What better way to celebrate this weird, apparently confusing premise of a podcast than by watching a weird and sort of confusing horror fairy tale?

In this episode, we talk, yet again, about our athletic prowess, or lack thereof. Also, our 200th episode is fast approaching, and I’m as baffled by the fact that we’re still doing this show as any one.

There’s some Rotten Tomatoes conspiracy going on here. This show was fine, but 100% critic score on the RT site…? With no critic reviews in sight? Something’s fishy.

Netflix may want to take note of this episode of the podcast because, while we may not be accurate, our wild speculations for the first season of this show far out pace anything Netflix seems capable of putting out these days.

We make a lot of bold statements in this one. We want to be the first podcast to come down FIRMLY on the anti-hijacking side of the argument that has raged for years. Why aren’t there more anti-hijacking laws, lawmakers?!?!

What started as a heartfelt and, frankly, kind of cute, coming of age and falling in love story gets twisted into a very stupid, but also very heartfelt superhero story. Just because Netflix was afraid to take this story there doesn’t mean we had to be.

Who asked for this? An action “comedy” about a video game with nary a backstory or reason to create a full-on television show in sight?!?!

Maybe we did when we last riffed on other video games that need streaming adaptations. Rest assured: This show need not exist, but this podcast is grateful either way.
