If so, this still might not be the show for you because it definitely feels like they’re pandering with a bunch of cameos in episode one and it wouldn’t surprise me if that was the last we see of most of them.

This was originally going to be an episode about Copenhagen Cowboy, Nicolas Refn’s latest production. Then I watched 30 minutes of that show and decided that enough was enough. Then I spent 10 minutes looking for a show that hovered around 30 minutes runtime so that I wasn’t wasting my entire morning. Which is where Easy Bake Battle comes in. It’s barely about Easy Bake ovens, but we’re barely a podcast about streaming exclusives any more so it seems fitting.

You ready to hear us talk about the latest mind-fuck turned streaming exclusive TV show? Good, because we weren’t either. Or maybe we were and this is all an elaborate social experiment. Who’s to know?

Much to the chagrin of streaming services everywhere, we’re back! And what better way to kick off our return from an unintended hiatus than by STEALING THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE!

The absolute audacity of Netflix to make this show. About a company that they absolutely destroyed the hell out of years ago. And not even just to make this show, but to try to pretend that Blockbuster was somehow worth saving…
