A photograph of US President Donald Trump alongside the convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein is among more than a dozen files that have suddenly disappeared from the US Justice Department's webpage less than a day after they were posted with no explanation from the government and no notice to the public.

The Justice Department has given no explanation for the removals fuelling speculation about transparency and questions as to whether other images of Donald Trump with Jeffrey Epstein also exist.
