EQUINOXAST

As the first episode of 2022, we present this beautiful new year’s gift from our friend XTR (https://soundcloud.com/a_corchado_xtr), a talented artist from Trujillo, Spain.

XTR (Adrian Corchado) started connecting with electronic music more than 20 years ago by listening to many sounds from Germany and Holland. Since then, he has never lost the melodic spirit which is the basis of Trance and Hard-Trance of that decades. Later, he had the opportunity to play in some European countries like Germany or the Czech Republic. Recently he has lived in Ibiza for one year, where he is able to discover deeper sounds and introduce them in his sets. Right now, he is starting to produce his debut album.

In this episode we invite ReCorpo from Naples, Italy, who has recently released tracks and tracks on famous labels like Supermatic, Iconyc, 3rd / Future Avenue, Nova Collective, LTU, Astral and Polyptych. This is a special set including mainly his own marvelous tracks.

The oscillations of the waves is a universal feature. We all perceive these waves differently; but one thing is certain - without impulses there is no life. ReCorpo's project consists in the creation of sound impulses, which represent the mood of the artist himself, represented by the careful research of electronic and ambient sounds, which in turn intertwine with each other, creating melodic compositions.

In this episode we invite Mizzy TheCosmic, the project of Gilberto Miguel, uprising and talented DJ/Producer from Mozambique.

It wasn’t until the age of 10 that Mizzy started developing a taste for music before he was only interested in visual arts. By the age of 12, he began making use of his creative skills, starting from design and eventually shifting to music where his first steps were songwriting and recording Hip Hop and R&B songs. After a year he made a comeback to electronic music, but this time not only as a listener but also as a DJ/Producer. It was in 2017 that he decided to explore more of the scene by taking his studies in Pune, India where it seemed like the best choice at that moment, allowing him to pursue his studies while at the same time getting an experience of a music scene which better suits his taste. Since then Mizzy has played different clubs and festivals, in-and-out of Pune. He is now residing in Bangalore, India.

Mizzy’s previous tracks Lea, Beneath The Ocean Surface, R.A.E to name a few. All of his work has been released independently until the date and it ranges from deep tech, deep house to melodic techno, and more… His taste for music is pretty wide, which causes him to not imprison himself only for one genre.
