We are back again to kick off 2022 with a brand new episode of Medical Monday on eradiosa.com, presented by Eon Engelbrecht.
As you may already know, we are about to open our new screening centre, "Vision for Life Clinic" at Harvil House,
George.
This new clinic is an expansion of our practice where patients from far and wide can do their laser screenings with a refractive optometrist. Patients then come to Knysna for surgery.
Not only this, but we are offering myopia control for children and teenagers to slow down the progression. This is incredibly important as by 2050, half the world’s population will be short-sighted! An epidemic we need to control.
We are also offering a dry eye clinic service in the heart of George.
We all have one or two relatives that we don't get along with but have to for the sake of others. This week on Keeping it Real with Hamilton's Property Portfolio, Simon gives some good advice on how to survive Christmas with these family members
Eon Engelbrecht is introducing the newest member of the Dr Dylan A Joseph - Cataract and Refractive Surgeon team: Beate Parsons.
Beate is a passionate optometrist from George who earned her degree in optometry from the university of Johannesburg and practised overseas for several years in a dedicated refractive surgery centre. "We are delighted to welcome Beate as part of the team who will be working alongside our refractive surgeon Dr Dylan Joseph from January 2022".
Beate will be working from the new Lasik screening centre in George.
Listen to Beate’s optometric journey and get ready to hear the exciting news.
With flights cancelled worldwide due to the new Covid variant, many will spend this Christmas alone.
