Is it so hard, then, for us to believe that the divine gift is forever made? Prayer is a sincere desire of the intellect to enter into conscious union with the Divine Presence and to receive direct from It every good thing that makes life worthwhile. My prayer today is one of affirmation. It incorporates a complete acceptance of the Divine beneficence and the eternal givingness of the Spirit. Today I lift high my cup of acceptance, knowing that the universal Horn of Plenty fills it to overflowing. This shall include everything I need, whether it be health, happiness, or wisdom. Today my mind is open and my consciousness receives the Kingdom into itself."   Every business, every place, every person, every thing has a certain mental atmosphere of its own. Peace Peace be both to thee, and peace be to thine house, and peace be unto all that thou hast. —I SAMUEL 2 5 : 6     "Phillips Brooks said that “peace is the entire harmony between the nature of anything and its circumference.” House is a symbol of the physical body and of “that house not made with hands eternal in the heavens.” House is a symbol of any of the “vehicles, bodies, or habitations of the soul” on any or all planes. The Bible speaks of the House of Bondage and the House of Freedom. Symbolically, it tells us that we must come “out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage,” that we must be led by the Divine Spirit into that true home, which is heaven. Jesus said that “in my Father’s house are many mansions.” Today I permit my mental house to be at peace. I know that my true home is heaven and that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Today I enter into this permanent home. I consciously move in and make my dwelling place in this House of Peace and Gladness."

Humanity Have we not all one Father? Hath not one God created us? —MALACHI 2:10   "Arthur Compton, in The Freedom of Man, tells us that science has discovered nothing that contradicts the idea of a Universal Mind, or Spirit, of which all people are offspring or emanations. It would be impossible to converse with each other unless there were a common medium or, as Emerson said, “one mind common to all people.” It is impossible to depart from this Divine Presence, to be separated from this heavenly Father, which is the Parent Mind. Since God is everywhere, wherever we are, God is. Today I know that there is one Spirit in every person I meet. Realizing that there is one Heavenly Father, I know that there is common bond among all humanity. There are no aliens, no strangers. The Divine Image in me cannot be separated from the Divine Image in others. I see God in everyone I meet, and the Spirit that is within me responds to the Spirit within them, for we have one Source."

This refers to the continual progression of the Soul. Since God is infinite, our expansion is progressive and eternal. Today I Rejoice in All Nature

"Since happiness is the reason for my being, and since the Kingdom of Heaven is a joyous state of consciousness, and since the Kingdom of Heaven is here and now, today I consciously open my whole thought to the influx of the Divine Harmony. Today I realize that I am not a stranger on the shores of time, but am an honored guest in the Kingdom of Good. Today I enter with joy into my kingdom, into the warmth and color of living. Today I enter into the peace and the calm and the poise that belong to the Kingdom of Good, to the Kingdom of Fulfillment, which is the Kingdom of God. Today I say to myself, “Behold, the Kingdom of God is at hand.” This kingdom is my kingdom. My kingdom is here and now. My Host sits beside me, walks with me, gives me wise counsel. My Host advises and gently leads me down the corridors of time ’till all shadows are cast behind, and the golden rays of peace flood my whole being with eternal light.

Today, I will recognize the Divine in everything. I will realize that the ground upon which my feet tread is holy. The voice of Truth will rise from every form in nature, proclaiming the holiness, the wholeness of all that is. The sun will represent the warmth and color of the Infinite. Not only will the morning stars sing together, but I will chant my hymn of praise and with them I will rejoice in all nature.”
