For years, taking a holiday meant that we had to fly somewhere. The day and age of budget airlines meant that more of the world became accessible to tourism. That is, until cruise liners developed a trend of their own, and suddenly, we no longer wanted to pay separately for hotel amenities, transfers and only one destination at any one time.
