These are the rules I’ve witnessed used in toxic relationships and you will probably recognize a lot of them in your relationship with your narcissistic ex. If you see them in your current relationships, you will need to set some better boundaries. The rules these people expect you to play by are nonsense and will benefit only the self centered partner. The more we understand the rules they use the easier it will be to recognize when they’re using them on us and the sooner we can stop the nonsense.
