The Man Who Liked Dickens". An Englishman is imprisoned in the Brazilian jungles by a madman who insists that he read all the works of Charles Dickens, over and over. The story was previously used on, "The Columbia Workshop" of June 12, 1939. “You are crawling across the jungle savannah your body reeling with fever while behind you lies certain death and ahead the endless tortures of perpetual imprisonment.” Incidentally as a youth, Mr Kilburn gained fame playing "Tiny Tim Cratchit" opposite Reginald Owen's Ebenezer Scrooge in the 1938 classic A Christmas carol. I guess Terry Kilburn would have good reason to like Dickens
