Those who know me know that I am big on entrepreneurship development, self-development, coaching, books, and podcasts.
Self-development is one bottomless rabbit hole. Once you begin the journey, thereโs no end to it. It almost feels like a treasure hunt because you never know what kind of a wisdom gem youโre going to find next. ๐ฆ ๐ฅ
Recently, I came across a business coachโโโnamed Alex Charfen. And the reason why I found Alex to be interesting is that he wrote a book on Entrepreneurial Personality Type. As defined by Alex in his book called โThe Entrepreneurial Personality Type: Your guide to the most important and misunderstood people among usโ, Entrepreneurial Personality Type refers to a set of traits or attributes that define a modern-day hunter. โ๏ธ ๐ฆ ๐ ย
In his book, Alex lists ten unique attributes that, once developed, can transform into unique abilities and skills. What heโs saying is that there are ten different essential aspects of the EPT personality. And when EPTs are not aware of how they function and neglect to take care of themselves, it can lead to self-destructive behavior. ๐ค But if they learn how to take advantage of those special skills, they become very successful in their pursuit of business success.ย ๐

In this episode, I am talking to Cass Grim, a human resources specialist living in Mexico City. Cass is originally from the US, and she is working remotely for an American digital marketing agency. ๐บ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฝ
I first met Cass when I moved to Mexico City to do an internship in one of the Big 4 consulting companies. Cass worked for the same company, where she was originally hired as a salesperson. Still, she found her way into some of the HR-related tasks for the International Business Center of the Big 4 consulting company. After that, she worked for an Internship Placement Agency in the HR role for about three years and is now in the digital marketing agency.ย
This episode is very special because I got a chance to pick the brain of an HR manager. I got to ask her how to best position yourself to change a career successfully, what HR managers are looking for when reviewing resumes, how to start feeling excited again about the job you hate, and why are so many people today dissatisfied with their jobs. During the interview, Cass also gives a lot of tips about HR policies, how to best catch hiring managers' attention. The Escape Your Boring Job Podcast is available on Spotify, Apple podcast, and Youtube channel. In this podcast, I interview people who left their traditional jobs and either joined a startup or became business owners. I hope that hearing their stories will encourage you to take action and Escape Your Boring Job once and for all! ๐ฅ๐๐ป
