  • The City That Proved Bible Prophecy True
Why was God so angry with Tyre, and how does Tyre’s history prove the Bible is true?

In this episode of Shadows to Substance, Pastor George Sayour explores the biblical and historical significance of the Mediterranean city of Tyre.

Though Tyre was once an ally of Israel through David, Solomon, and King Hiram, Scripture repeatedly pronounces judgment against it in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Joel, Amos, and Zechariah.

George shows how prophecies about Tyre were fulfilled through Nebuchadnezzar, Alexander the Great, and later historical judgments, while also pointing to the deeper issue beneath Tyre’s downfall: pride, wealth, self-sufficiency, and rejection of God. Yet even in judgment, Scripture holds out hope that Gentile nations like Tyre can be humbled, restored, and brought under the lordship of Christ.

  • “Lord, Lord”: The Terrifying Warning of the Ten Virgins
Are you truly ready for the return of Christ? In this continuation of his teaching through the Olivet Discourse, Pastor Brian Gunter turns to Matthew 25 and the sobering parable of the ten virgins. What separates the wise from the foolish—and why does Jesus end the parable with such a terrifying warning?

Brian explores the ancient wedding background, the significance of the lamps and oil, and the danger of possessing an outward profession of faith without the reality behind it. Salvation cannot be borrowed from parents, churches, theological knowledge, or religious activity.

The warning is simple and urgent: when the Bridegroom comes, the door is shut.

Watch as Brian unpacks one of Christ’s most searching parables and its call to genuine faith, perseverance, and readiness.

  • "In God We Trust" Was a Christian Nationalist Project
Where did “In God We Trust” really come from, and was it merely Cold War anti-communist propaganda?

In this episode of The Magistrate, Josh Howard and James Baird trace the forgotten Civil War-era origins of the phrase on American currency.

They discuss Baptist pastor Mark Watkinson, Treasury Secretary Salmon Chase, U.S. Mint Director James Pollock, Henry Boardman of Tenth Presbyterian Church, the original National Reform Association, and the push to recognize God and the Christian character of the nation in public life.

This episode uncovers how “In God We Trust” was part of a broader pan-Protestant effort to call America to national repentance, acknowledge divine sovereignty, and confess dependence upon the God of the Bible.

  • Secret Leak: Israel’s Plan for America Exposed | Richard Reacts
In this episode of Richard Reacts, Richard Henry responds to viral claims about Israel, America, vengeance, and the role of Western nations in the Middle East.

But instead of allowing geopolitics to determine how Christians think about Israel and the Jewish people, Richard goes back to Scripture. What exactly did God promise to Abraham? Who inherits those promises? And how should Christians understand the relationship between Israel, the nations, and Jesus Christ?

Looking at passages including Genesis 12, Romans 15, Galatians 3, and Matthew 24, Richard challenges popular assumptions about Israel and biblical prophecy and argues that the ultimate hope of both Jew and Gentile is found not in ethnic superiority, national vengeance, or geopolitical power—but in Jesus Christ, the promised seed of Abraham and Savior of the nations.

  • AD 70 and the Great Tribulation: The Destruction of Jerusalem Explained
Why does the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70 matter for how Christians understand the Great Tribulation?

In this episode of The Based Boomer Podcast, Mike D’Virgilio examines the fall of Jerusalem, the destruction of the temple, and the horrific Roman siege that brought an end to the Old Covenant age.

Drawing from Scripture and historical accounts, Mike explores the events surrounding A.D. 70 and their connection to Jesus’ warnings in Matthew 24.

Was the Great Tribulation a worldwide event still waiting in our future—or was Jesus describing the catastrophic judgment that would fall upon Jerusalem within that generation?

Mike makes the case that understanding A.D. 70 changes the way we read biblical prophecy, the Olivet Discourse, and the advance of Christ’s kingdom in history.

  • What the Bible Really Says About Heaven and Hell
What happens when you die—and what does the Bible actually teach about heaven, hell, resurrection, and eternity?

In this episode of Take Heart, Cory Wing examines the Christian hope of bodily resurrection, the intermediate state, the new heavens and new earth, eternal life with God, and the sobering reality of hell and final judgment.

Heaven and hell are not metaphors, myths, or religious scare tactics. Scripture presents eternity as a reality every person must face. But for the Christian, the future is not merely about “going to heaven.” Our ultimate hope is resurrection and life in God's renewed creation.

This message calls us to consider eternity seriously, repent of sin, trust in Christ alone, and live with urgency, compassion, and hope in light of the gospel.

  • You’re Probably Reading the Bible Wrong | C.R. Wiley
What if understanding the Bible requires more than simply reading the words on the page?

In this special episode of Shadows to Substance, Pastor George Sayour is joined by C.R. Wiley to explore the idea of biblical imagination—and why modern Christians can struggle to recognize the stories, types, prophecies, symbols, and word pictures woven throughout Scripture.

How does the Bible train us to see the world? Why did earlier generations often think more naturally in terms of story and typology? And how does God use real history to reveal realities that point beyond themselves?

George and C.R. discuss Tolkien, Narnia, the Aeneid, Acts 9, technology, Apple, artificial intelligence, transhumanism, and humanity’s ancient temptation to seize knowledge and become like God.

This conversation may change the way you think about reading Scripture.

  • Daniel 7 Is Not About the End of the World
Daniel 7 presents one of Scripture’s clearest visions of Christ receiving His kingdom and everlasting dominion—but when does it happen?

In this episode of The Millennial Medic, Jacob Glass concludes his study of Daniel 7 by examining the Ancient of Days, the divine courtroom, the thrones, the books, and the Son of Man coming on the clouds. Jacob connects Daniel’s vision with Revelation, Matthew 24, Ephesians 2, and the judgment of A.D. 70, arguing that Christ’s ascension and enthronement mark the transfer of kingdom authority from the beasts to the saints.

Christ reigns with everlasting dominion. His kingdom cannot be destroyed—and His people need not fear earthly nations or demonic powers.

  • Can an Entire Nation Become Christian? What It Means To "Disciple" A Nation
What does Scripture actually mean when it commands us to “disciple the nations”? Is the Great Commission simply about converting individuals—or can nations themselves truly become Christian?

In this episode of The Magistrate, James Baird is joined by George Sayour, filling in for Josh Howard, to examine what the Bible teaches about nations, national identity, and the reign of Christ.

James and George explore the biblical meaning of ethnos, the relationship between individuals and nations, and whether Scripture gives us categories for speaking about a genuinely Christian nation. Along the way, they work through Genesis 10, Matthew 28, Revelation 21, and the broader biblical story of Christ’s authority over the nations.

What would it actually mean to disciple a nation? And should Christians expect the gospel to transform not only individuals and families, but entire peoples, cultures, and societies?

The Magistrate explores Christian political theology, civil government, history, and the proper relationship between Christ, His Church, and the nations.

  • Can a Christian Actually Lose Their Salvation? Richard Reacts
Can a Christian lose their salvation—or does God truly keep everyone who belongs to Him?

In this episode of Richard Reacts, Richard Henry responds to a campus discussion about “once saved, always saved,” eternal security, and the perseverance of the saints.

Looking at Philippians 1, John 10, Romans 10, 1 Peter 1, Hebrews, and the parable of the prodigal son, Richard examines assurance, repentance, unbelief, grace, and the question at the heart of the debate: Can Christ’s sheep ever be snatched from the Father’s hand?
