Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) has changed the treatment landscape for glaucoma, offering a safer and less invasive alternative to traditional glaucoma surgeries, focusing on reducing intraocular pressure (IOP) with minimal trauma and faster recovery times. This approach is particularly advantageous for patients undergoing cataract surgery, as it allows both conditions to be addressed simultaneously, reducing the burden of surgery and potentially improving visual outcomes.
