We are officially back with our first episode proper of Season 3!
We had a lot of fun in the off-season, and created some amazing content, both long-form and short-form. If you haven't yet, be sure to go back through the last few months of episodes and see if our new 5 Minute Review Series tickles your fancy. We've also got some great guest spots and films, like Jesse from Sudden But Inevitable, Wyndham from Celluloid Fever Dreams, and MJ from Let's Jaws a Minute.
Today, though, we are bringing you the best of what our full-length episodes have to offer: deep cinematic insight coupled with a constant thread of fun. We've even brought back our comedy sketches, and can't wait to share it with you today.
Enjoy Robocop and everything the new and improved Season 3 has to offer! Thanks for listening!

Esoterica Cinema is back with twice the fun and 367% more insight!*
Join hosts Jason Peters and Ryan Seybold as they review and analyze lesser known films from the cinematic multiverse. From high art to genre crap, there's no film these guys won't touch.
And on top of some strong analysis and plenty of laughs, there's also an original comedy sketch made by the guys based on the film they just reviewed.
Why settle for stuffy review programs when you can get all of the insight with a healthy dose of fun right here at Esoterica Cinema, the podcast where we take films from the cinematic multiverse and discuss the hell out of 'em!
During this off-season of Esoterica Cinema, we've been introducing new features and content such as our 5 Minute Review Series!
5 Minute Reviews feature Jason or Ryan breaking down a given film from the Esoterica Cinema universe in - you guessed it - five minutes! But it's an Esoterica Cinema five minutes which means they'll typically clock in around ten.
Our 5 Minute Reviews are short-form and spoiler-free, so absolutely anyone can enjoy whether they've seen the film or not.
Today, join Jason as he breaks down the 1932 epic The Sign of the Cross, written by Waldemar Young & Sidney Buchman, directed by Cecil B. DeMille, and starring Fredric Mark, Claudette Colbert, & Charles Laughton.
Stay tuned for plenty more where this came from! And if there's a particular film you'd like for us to review, drop us a line on Twitter, IG, or Gmail @esotericacinema

We're still here in the off-season doing what we do best...talking about movies!
Today's episode is our last full-length review before we kick off Season 3 shortly, and we're happy to bring a new friend into the fold in the form of Wyndham Jennings from the Celluloid Fever Dream podcast!
Wyndham has a similar approach to the films he reviews on his program in that he tries to find films that are somewhat-to-very off the beaten path. Naturally, we hit it off like champs and he brought some tremendous insight to a pretty wild film, 2020's The Show, written by the peerless Alan Moore.
We hope you enjoy listening to the conversation as much as we enjoyed having Wyndham on the show...for The Show!

Today, we're bringing you something a little different as we analyze a movie that is a retelling of the finale of a TV show. Yes, you read that correctly.
But this isn't just any show. This is Neon Genesis Evangelion, and we're specifically looking at the film End of Evangelion, which is a re-telling of the final 2 episodes of the show.
Now, for this series and subsequent film, Ryan took a backseat while Jason dove in head first. Does this mean you're stuck with Jason for 3-1/2 hours? No, because he went out and got friend of the show Jesse from Sudden But Inevitable to join him for the whole dang thing!
We've split this discussion in two, so enjoy the second and final half of this epic conversation.
Cheers, sci-fi & anime friends!
