This week, Jason checks out the second of Leigh Whannel's films, 2020's The Invisible Man.

Offering incredible tension and a terrific, physical performance from Elisabeth Moss, this is an incredibly effective thriller far worthy of your time.

This week's sketch is Hula Hoopin', inspired by The Hudsucker Proxy.

Written, produced, and performed by Ryan Seybold

In 1994, Joel & Ethan Coen made a madcap, 50's-inspired comedy about a guy who invents the hula-hoop, and convinced Tim Robbins, Paul Newman, and Jennifer Jason Leigh to join the fun.

Today, Jason & Ryan review it.

And this time, they've brought along a friend in Shawn from Cheapseat Reviews!

Enjoy this fun and informative look at The Hudsucker Proxy.

This week, Jason returns to a certain sci-fi/comedy/horror franchise for Critters 2: The Main Course!

While offering more gore and heightened special effects, the film lacks the sense of heart and family that made the first so successful.

Written and produced by Ryan Seybold

Performed by Ryan Seybold and Jason Peters

Tokyo Story is a film that comes loaded with expectations given its recent anointment as one of the all-time pinnacles of cinema. However, it is entirely possible that the weight of these expectations has a tremendous and ultimately negative effect on the initial viewing experience, setting the film up to be a much larger and more grandiose experience than it ultimately is.

In this episode, Jason & Ryan unpack their reactions to this esteemed film, and the many was in which it differs from preconceived ideas of what the film is and should be.
