Let Dr. Sai Tummala be the cure for what's ailing you this week, as the former Hawaii sharpshooter comes on to share memories of that magical 2015-16 season that capped his college career as a graduate transfer from Arizona State. Tummala went on to get his degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine and is in residency for orthopedic surgery at the Mayo Clinic in his native Phoenix -- a hotspot during a pandemic.

But this is also the eve of another University of Hawaii basketball series, this time with Cal State Fullerton, so Josh Pacheco joins the show live from Fullerton to talk about the upcoming series. Also, the NFL Championship games are this weekend, so we look at Buffalo and Tampa Bay as Matt Parrino from Syracuse.com talks about the Bills and Greg Auman from the Athletic talks the Buccaneers.

Our resident football guru Rich Miano joins the show again to discuss the Hula Bowl, for which he serves as executive director, still on schedule to be played January 31st at Aloha Stadium. Rich also shares his thoughts on the season that was for UH football and the upcoming championship weekend in the NFL. Before that though, Kanoa and Jordan talk about the historically dominant UFC performance by Max Holloway, the recent stumbles for the Hawaii men's and women's hoops programs, and Philip Rivers announcing his retirement.
