I read a column from John Mamola from Barrett Media. The gist of this article is that ESPN has allowed its standards to erode in the name of gaining ratings and revenue from Pat McAfee.

First off, I appreciate that he actually wrote a media story with an actual point of view.

Second, I'll explain why McAfee is just a produce of what ESPN allowed itself to become.
