Miriam Rodriguez was born and raised in San Fernando, Tamaulipas. Miriam's youngest daughter, Karen, was taken by the cartel and even though the Rodriguez family paid the ransom money, the cartel did not return Karen. Miriam then took it upon herself to find those responsible for her daughter's disappearance.
