The Echo Fox controvery has come to a sad end. Rick Fox, the former Laker and actor who became an esports ambassador, was forced to sell his crown jewel in an LCS spot after the company was unable to remove allegedly racist shareholder Amit Raizada.
The spot was sold for $30 million to Kroenke Sports and Entertainment. That gives Stan Kroenke arguably the most expansive sports/esports holdings of any person in the world as he now he owns teams in the NFL, NBA, Premiere League, OWL and LCS.
