After a few weeks of intense astrology, this week is feeling quite harmonious. While we've got a New Moon in Sagittarius, Venus moving into Capricorn, and Neptune in a virtual standstill... We're able to be in the flow of the Universe. Perfect timing too since many of us will be sitting down to have dinner with our family on Thanksgiving. The New Moon on Tuesday will help us adjust some of our plans and perspectives on what's ahead. Venus will help us restrain ourselves when we want to yell at the dinner table or put the big screen TV on the credit card on Black Friday. Neptune, of course, will bring our dreams and subconscious thoughts to the surface, so you might be able to completely dissociate with your family and feel like you're floating about the drama.

This week kicks off with Mars at 29 degrees Libra. Now, I’m not sad to see Mars move into Scorpio, but it does set the stage for a week of endings. When a planet is at 29 degrees of any sign it’s scraping the bottom of the hot chocolate to get that last bit of chocolatey goodness, it might be bittersweet, but it’s oh so satisfying.

After weeks of feeling not so self-assured, or able to assert yourself Mars moves out of Libra and into Scorpio where you’ll find you passion, drive, and focus once again. Along with Mercury stationing direct and the Sun moving into Sagittarius, we've got a big week of blessings and endings.

This week the planets are giving us the opportunity to finally make those decisions we've been grappling with.  While we're still in Mercury retrograde, the planet of communication is traveling between us and the Sun, meaning our minds are sharp and the info we're receiving is clear. Mercury's harmonious aspects to Saturn make sure our decision making is sober and responsible. While the planet of the mind is also in pleasant conversation with Neptune, ruling our dreams and intuition. 

This is a week where your mind has the ability to tap into your soul's calling while honoring your earthly responsibilities. Mars and Jupiter want you to know that your dreams are well within your grasp, but the moon in Cancer later in the week will make you feel the gravity of your decisions. Take a note from the Full moon in Taurus and move forward with patience, discernment, and savor the moment.

This week is hot and heavy right off the bat with Mars making a challenging aspect to Pluto. If you can imagine that fine line between a hot date and a heated argument, then you know why my heart is pumping. On the heels of the New Moon in Scorpio, we have a week filled with banner worthy astrology! Mars is making his way from squaring (a conflicting aspect) Saturn to squaring Pluto. This is a time where transformation is so close you can taste it, but you may be resisting. It's OK, growth is never comfortable. Mercury going retrograde on Halloween is an invitation to sit back, reflect, watch, collect the data and prepare yourself for how you will make the changes you need to make come January. This week, when the veil is thin between the realm of the living and the dead, it is a perfect time to get honest with yourself about where you've been and where you want to go. Might I suggest this is a great time to work the muscle of forgiveness? Scorpio season is here to help you release the poison of resentment, guilt, and shame.

This week we officially enter the Scorpio season. Hello to the ghosts, goblins, and perhaps some difficult memories and emotional patterns. All week we'll be moving toward a tense aspect between Mars and Saturn. When taken at face value this might seem like a bummer, but I promise this is Saturn teaching us restraint even when we want to throw a temper tantrum. How can you reframe this slow down so that you realize the Universe is not working against you, but in your favor?

On the heels of the potent Full Moon in Aries this past Sunday, we are gearing up to step into our power. Pluto has been in the mix for the past few weeks and he's not letting up on you now. This week we are literally caught between a rock and a hard place. The rock being Monday when the Sun squares Saturn and the hard place being Sunday when the Sun squares Pluto! These two planets in the sign of Capricorn are encouraging us to lean into the deep shifts happening in our lives. You might feel like nothing is happening; that you're stuck treading water, not moving forward. This happens whenever we have challenging Saturn aspects, but it couldn't be further from the truth.
