Essential Astrocast

This week we release the old karma, relationships, and beliefs that we've held onto; in favor of committing to the dreams and desires that most align with our hearts. It might be time to make a commitment!

With the Sun moving into Libra, prompting the Fall Equinox, we become interested in finding peace, balance, and harmony in all things. No longer do we look to criticize, but to find common ground. The week wraps up with a lovely New Moon on Saturday and the beginning of a new 19-year cycle for Saturn!

Or is there something nagging at your mind that you want to do, but you just haven't found the courage or drive to make it happen? This is your week to dive in. Mercury and Venus, also in Virgo, will help you stay focused and make sure that any new endeavors align with your values and beliefs. This week we have a New Moon in Virgo and a bevy of Virgo based planets talking to chaos loving change maker Uranus. With all this Earth in the sky (we’ve got planets in Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo) this week is ripe for tangible results to come through. While a lot of astrologers will tell you to “not waste this energy” and get to doing, I’ve got a different take on this week’s transits…

This week Mars is leading the pack into the sign of Virgo. When Mars enters a sign it shifts the way we approach motivation, drive, and ambition. With Mars in Virgo we have the focus to pay attention to the small stuff. While that might make some of us nit picky perfectionists, it can also inspire us to pay attention the magic in the everyday moments.

This week features a big kiss in the sky between the Sun and Venus, bringing our attention to love, money, and our values. While Venus might be known for her sexy side, she inspires us to consider what's important to us in all our relationships. Making this Sun - Venus date even hotter is the Full moon in Aquarius illuminating the 4 planets currently in Leo. If there was ever a week to trust your passion and follow your heart this is it. Not to worry, Virgo season will be upon us next week, and we can clean up any mess that remains then.

This week we have an opportunity to integrate the changes and the lessons that eclipse season has brought to our lives. We'll have time to emotionally process what we've experienced since June. The Universe is asking us to have some fun and follow the desires of our hearts. How can you identify more with your heart and less with who you think the world wants you to be?

Thankfully the New Moon in Leo is upon us. Come Wednesday, July 31 the eclipse season will be officially over and Mercury will appear to be moving forward again. We can expect momentum to pick up again, but that doesn’t mean we're done with information and changes needed that the eclipse season has unveiled.
