Today I dive into what it’s been like for 2 healthcare workers that have been working throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Kari starts us off by going into his personal concerns regarding his PPE situation at his job. We finish off by talking to Matt who talks about what it’s been like working at an adult group home. For our first minisode, I read off 10 of our group members frustrations on what is has been like working throughout the COVID pandemic as an essential worker.

Today I talk to Garrett, an iron worker from New York who tells us what he’s been up to and how he’s been handing Covid. I also end the episode but talking to Dillon from Texas were he gets deep into what it’s like working in his healthcare field and how he’s learning a lot from what has happened these last couple months and what he’s been doing to learn more about fair wages and the cost of living. Dillon also gives us his plans for our August 17th call in campaign!

To start off our first essential workers podcast, I talk with our groups moderator Danny and administrator “Stacey.” Danny kicks us off by going into his August 17th essential worker call off campaign and his role as an essential worker. I end the call talking to my long time personal friend “Stacey” about her experience working as a part time grocery store worker during the COVID pandemic. “Stacey” also talks about her role as an admin to our Facebook community and why she’s been on board since day one.
