The guys head to Winnipeg to chat with Sara Orlesky about what the Jets could do at the trade deadline. Plus the boys discuss John Cena turning heel, the start of the Indy Car season and more Oilers talk as we look ahead to their three games this week and and the looming trade deadline. 

Lots to get to on EST Afternoons as Salas and Gage recap the Oilers win in Carolina, is it Pickard time and why all these no movement clauses by the Oil. In our new segment for this week "Trade Watch" we discuss the Evander Kane situation.

Lots of Oilers talk in the opening hour, as Salas and Gage take a deep dive on all that ails the Edmonton Oilers after another loss on Thursday night to the Florida Panthers as they dropped their fifth straight game. They continue the Oilers talk w/ Highlights/Lowlights and the one and only Redi Wilkins. 

In the final hour the Heat and Smoke look ahead to the Oilers final game of their road trip as they head to Carolina to face the Canes. The boys also talk about Stuart Skinner and Brett Kulak being very chipper in their postgame interviews and they check in with EST's intern Brendan who is producing the show today and next week. Plus we find out Gager hates the Beatles. 

In hour 2, George Richards from Florida Hockey Now joins the boys to give a Panthers view of things, an update on Tkachuk's status and it's an early edition of Zach to the Future with the producer Zach Kubusch to see if they can stump him with 80s and 90s knowledge!

Salas and Gager discuss Kris Knoblauch announcing that Darnell Nurse is day-to-day and won't play tonight against the Panthers due to an undisclosed injury, while the Oil look to snap a four-game losing streak. In the Red Light District, Gager tees up the EST F1 league and what listeners will need to do to earn a spot in the league. 

In the second hour, Salas and Gager keep the Oilers conversation as they hit on the forward group and did Jeff Jackson miss on some signings. Also how are we feeling with the Oil playing in Florida on Thursday, can they snap their losing streak. The boys change it up where they chat some Blue Jays with Tyson Shushkewich of Blue Jays Nation, discussing Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and spring training!

A 4-1 Oilers loss to the Lightning extended the Oilers' losing streak to four games. Hernan Salas and Joaquin Gage discuss the game and the issues they see from the Oilers including defence and some perhaps questionable decisions by the coaching staff in regards to the lineup. They break it down during Highlights/Lowlights before they have Hernan's World. 

More Oilers talk in hour 2, as the guys discuss if Kris Knoblauch is shuffling the lines too much? Plus the Dallas Mavericks are in L.A. this evening to face Luka, Eddie Sefko from Mavs.com tees up the game and another round of Heat and Smoke. 

Hernan and Gager get you set for Oilers at Tampa Bay Lightning as the Oil will sit John Klingberg and Jeff Skinner, while starting the struggling Stuart Skinner between the pipes.
