Eternal Durdles

We chat with Stu Ziarnik, erstwhile leader of Austin's Romancing the Stones tournaments, on building and maintaining eternal Magic communities and adapting to the new webcam-based world. RTS plays mostly Vintage, with some Old School and Middle School mixed in. Check out the site: stonesmtg.com; and twitter.com/StonesVintage

Talkin' Magic with longtime friend of the cast Eric Vergo, the only person to top-8 both Legacy and Vintage champs in paper in the same year! We talk about Eric's Soul Sisters deck, his newfound love of brewing, what's going wrong in development, how to improve coverage, and much more. Happy new year everyone!

We have a bad Maro tweet to discuss! Is it possible that the average player doesn't know what the stack is or what planeswalkers are? Why is this information being told to us anyway? It's basically an hour of riffing on this nonsense.  Back next week with decks!

We return from an extended hiatus to review Commander Legends for Legacy. Is Prosperous Bloom back? How good is the monarch, really? Then, we wrap up in the final half-hour or so with discussion of the U.S. election. If you don't want to listen to non-Magic talk, just shut it off after the review!

As part of our ad-hoc series on "Wizards' Baffling Decisions that Reveal Contempt for Their Player Base," we take on the Walking Dead Secret Lair and continue trying to find the little corners of Magic that make us happy. There is a new parody song at the end of the episode. (Opening song: "Who Sold Out Now?" by Ignite)
