Zac and Nate announce a donation to Campaign Zero and discuss Black Lives Matter. They then move on to talk about Wizards’ decision to ban several cards for racist art or concepts. This is an emotional conversation with little about gameplay, please be advised.

Correction: Nate refers to a statement being removed from the ‘Depictions is Racism in Magic’ article. That statement was not actually ever in the article, it was in a tweet from the company that is still live, posted here:

www.wetheprotesters.org to donate to reform the police.

Nathan, Zac, and Phil respond with thoughts about this new companion Errata. What it means for the game, and what sort of precedents this could set in the future.

Zac Phil and Nate struggle with the B&R announcement.

Nate gets in a disagreement with Maro on Twitter. The guys ponder the depths of the design crisis.

Phil and Nate realized that they couldn't possibly play enough Legacy to have an informed opinion about the real impact of Companions on the format, so they called in a guy who plays more than enough! Anuraag Das is a Legacy streamer and podcaster who is three months into daily streaming. He streamed the recording live and we got into some more specifics about the actual texture of the format with input from his audience. You can find Anuraag on Twitter and Twitch at anzidmtg. He's also on the Elo Punters podcast with Daniel Goetschel and Bob Huang. Enjoy.

Nate goes Buck wild about a particular nonsensical companion interaction in standard that has implications that ripple through all formats. Zac and Phil sit back and share a bucket of popcorn.

Zac, Nate and Phil discuss some of the remaining cards from Ikoria.
