Christ's glorious love for us is like a light shining in pure darkness. However, the god of this age blinds so many to love of Christ. Paul warns both us and the people of Corinth that the Devil is always seeking cover Jesus' glory.

Athletes that compete also train. This is not a new concept for us. So if athletes train for a prize that is temporary, why don't we train with the same vigor for a prize that never fades? The Apostle Paul not only asks that questions, but he points us to Christ, our motivation.
