    JESUS CHRIST IS RECOGNISED AS THE SON OF GOD EVEN BY DEMONIC FORCES. ONE OF THE CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES THAT DISTINGUISHED JESUS CHRIST AS THE SON OF GOD IS HIS HUMILITY. THIS SAME FEATURE ALSO HELPED DAVID WON THE HEART OF JONATHAN WHO EVENTUALLY SAVED HIM WHEN SAUL PLANNED KILLING HIM. MAY YOU BE HUMBLE LIKE JESUS CHRIST AND IMBIBE HIS OTHER QUALITIES THAT YOU MAY BE TRULY A CHILD OF GOD.

    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
    INDEED, THE BATTLE IS OF THE LORD! LIFE IS A BATTLE. THE SUREST ROUTE TO VICTORY IS TO FIGHT UNDER THE COMMAND OF GOD, OR BETTER PUT, TO HAVE GOD FIGHT FOR YOU. STAYING ON THE SIDE OF GOD AND PUTTING ALL OUR FAITH IN GOD SECURE FOR US THE VICTORY WE DESIRE OVER OUR FOES. WE MUST HOWEVER RECOGNISE THAT OUR BATTLES ARE NOT JUST AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD BUT AGAINST POWERS, PRINCIPALITIES AND WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES. MAY GOD GRANT US ALL-ROUND VICTORY IN ALL THE BATTLES CONFRONTING US THROUGH CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. AMEN.

    INDEED, OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE. IN FACT, OBEDIENCE IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF SACRIFICE. THIS IS BECAUSE IN OBEDIENCE WE WILLINGLY GIVE UP OUR WILL FOR GOD'S WILL; WE SACRIFICE OUR WILL AT THE ALTAR OF OBEDIENCE TO GOD. OBEDIENCE IS ALSO THE SUREST AND FASTEST WAY TO ACCESSING THE HEART OF GOD; THE PLACE OF UNENDING, UNDYING AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. OBEY GOD IN ALL THINGS AND YOU'LL REMAIN IN GOD'S LOVE, FAVOUR AND BLESSINGS ALWAYS.
