  • Sat. Dec. 23rd, 2023 Homily by fadapeterbenson: PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE LORD WHOM YOU SEEK WILL...
    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
AS WE SEEK GOD'S INTERVENTION IN THE AFFAIRS OF OUR WORLD, LET'S FOCUS MORE ON PREPARING OUR VERY SELVES WORTHY TEMPLES FOR HIM RATHER THAN JUST LIMITING OURSELVES TO BUILDING "TEMPLES" FOR HIS COMING. THE LEVEL OF OUR PREPAREDNESS IS TO A LARGE EXTENT DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO THE LEVEL OF HIS INVOLVEMENT IN THE AFFAIRS OF THE WORLD WILL BE FELT. THIS IS BECAUSE THE MORE PREPARED WE'RE, THE BETTER VESSELS WE'RE FOR HIS USE IN TRANSFORMING THE WORLD IN FAVOUR OF HIS PEOPLE.

  • Thur. Dec. 21st, 2023 Homily by fadapeterbenson: GOD'S LOVE IS ETERNAL.
    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
INDEED, THE LOVE OF GOD IS ETERNAL AND INEXHAUSTIBLE. HE LOVES US EVEN WHILE WE'RE STILL SINNERS. HE SPEAKS GENTLY AND SONFTLY TO OUR HEART IN A BID TO DRAWS US INTO HIS LOVE IN ORDER TO ENJOY THE FULLNESS OF HIS LOVE FOR US. THOUGH GOD'S LOVE FOR US IS ETERNAL, INEXHAUSTIBLE, FREE AND ALL-INCLUSIVE, WE'RE REQUIRED TO RESPOND FAVOURABLY TO THIS LOVE FREELY OFFERED BY GOD.

  • Wed. Dec. 20th, 2023 Homily by fadapeterbenson: HE IS EMMANUEL; GOD WITH US.
    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
CONSIDERING THE UNPLEASANT HAPPENINGS AROUND THE WORLD AND THE CHALLENGES CONFRONTING US IN OUR TODAY WORLD ONE IS TEMPTED TO QUESTION THE OMNIPOTENT, OMNISCIENT, OMNIPRESENT, ALL-GOOD ATTRIBUTES OF GOD. SIMILARLY, CONSIDERING THE PROMISES OF GOD IN THE LIGHT OF OUR UNSEEMLY UNANSWERED PRAYERS ONE MAY QUESTION THE POSSIBILITY OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS. IN THE FACE OF ALL THESE GOD IS PRESENT WITH US AND SHARES IN ALL OUR EXPERIENCES SINCE HE TOOK OUR NATURE AT HIS INCARNATION IN ORDER TO MAKE US SHARE IN HIS DIVINE NATURE AND GLORY. THIS CONSCIOUSNESS AND CONVICTION SETTLES ALL THE PUZZLES OF LIFE AND, AT GOD'S OWN TIME, RESOLVES ALL OUR CHALLENGES.

    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
IT'S AT THE POINT THAT ALL HOPE SEEMS GONE AND ALL HELP FAILS THAT GOD COME THROUGH TO DO WHAT IS IMPOSSIBLE. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
DEFINITELY, GOD WILL TRANSFORM THE WORLD FOR GOOD. HOWEVER, THIS WILL COME ABOUT IN ITS FULLNESS ONLY WHEN WE ALLOW THE LORD GOD TO BECOME IN TRUTH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS; ALLOWING THE INCARNATE JESUS TAKE FLESH IN US AND LIVE IN AND THROUGH US.

  • Sat. Dec. 16th, 2023 Homily by fadapeterbenson: THE MESSIAH IS HERE IN OUR MIDST.
    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
JESUS CHRIST, THE MESSIAH OF THE UNIVERSE, IS HERE IN OUR MIDST. HE'S NOT FAR OR ALIENATED FROM US AS CIRCUMSTANCES OR CHALLENGES OF LIFE TEND TO MAKE US FEEL. MORE SO, WE RARELY FIND HIM IN THOSE PLACES AND THINGS WE TEND TO SEARCH FOR HIM IN THE COURSE OF OUR PREPARATION FOR THE CELEBRATION OF HIS INCARNATION. SEEK HIM IN YOUR EVERY DAY LIFE EXPERIENCES AND YOU WILL RECOGNISE HIM PRESENT IN THE DAILY EVENTS OF LIFE. MAY HE BE PRESENT TO YOU IN YOUR DAILY EXPERIENCES AND TURN AROUND EVERYTHING IN YOUR FAVOUR.

  • Fri. Dec. 15th, 2023 Homily by fadapeterbenson: CHANGE YOUR WAYS TO CORRESPOND TO YOUR PRAYERS.
    TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
THE PRAYERS WE OFFER WITH OUR LIPS MUST ALWAYS BE IN AGREEMENT WITH OUR LIFESTYLE SINCE OUR WAY OF LIFE IS IN ITSELF A MODE OF COMMUNICATION WITH GOD AND SHOULD ENSURE OUR CONSTANT COMMUNION WITH GOD IF OUR PRAYERS MUST BE ATTENDED TO BY GOD. OUR WAY OF LIFE IS EITHER A HINDERANCE OR AN ENHANCEMENT TO OUR PRAYERS IF WE UNDERSTAND PRAYERS AS A MEANS OF COMMUNICATION WITH GOD. TO THIS EFFECT, WE MUST LOOK UP TO JESUS CHRIST AS OUR ULTIMATE ROLE MODEL SO AS TO HAVE OUR WAY OF LIFE CORRESPOND TO OUR PRAYERS AND AS SUCH HAVE A RESULT YEILDING PRAYER LIFE.
