ETERNAL WORD OF LIFE MINISTRY (EWLM)

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Come to God with your burden, worries, anxieties, challenges, limitations, the troubles of your family, your church and your society and He will give you rest. The one reason Jesus Christ came into the world is that we may receive help and rest from God amidst our challenges. Jesus Christ himself assures us: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." (cf. Luke 4:18-19). Kindly listen to today's episode of my podcast for details of today's homily.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Dear friends we, like St. Andrew and the other apostles, are called to follow Jesus Christ in truth and in spirit. The quality of one's followership of Jesus Christ is dependent on one's ability to follow Jesus Christ in doing His will in all things and at all times. This may not be without some cost implications. Nevertheless, it remains the most assured and most rewarding route to travel as we journey through life. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. The coming of Christ Jesus in human form is to recreate the fallen world/humanity and restore it to its original glorious state. God had to take our nature in the person of Jesus Christ through the Blessed Virgin Mary to salvage us. In becoming one like us Jesus teaches us to become little infants who will be docile to the will of God and the promptings of the Holy Spirit at all times and in all circumstances. The desired new world is brought about through human collaboration with God in His Divine plan for humanity. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. The centurion said to Jesus Christ that he's not worthy to have Jesus Christ under his roof but requested Jesus to say a word and his servant would be healed and so it happened. This is a statement of faith and a sign of humility. These two virtues are essential for us to enjoy the unconditional love and favour of God. Advent season is designed to help us build up these and other viruses. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. At the first Sunday of Advent God presents us with this message of hope; God will transform the world and our individual worlds into a beautiful one where all our afflictions today will give way to His salvation and blessings. He however invites us to get ready for this new world He's creating or rather "re-creating" for us through the incarnation of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Kindly listen to today's episode of my podcast for details of today's homily.
