  • Sat. Dec. 17th, 2022 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: WE MAY BE UNFAITHFUL, GOD IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL.
TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. God's love for you is not predicated on your faithfulness. He loves you even while you're in enmity with Him. His promise to save you and the entire humanity cannot be deterred by your unfaithfulness. Yes, there is hope for you for God won't fail to come through for you to save you. Your life narrative as a person, a family, a community, a nation and a world may be dotted with all kinds of dents. He'll create out of your narrative a perfect and beautiful story of your life that the world will marvel at in awe of God's love and faithfulness in your life. Kindly listen to today's episode of my podcast for details of today's homily.

  • Fri. Dec. 16th, 2022 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER.
TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. God's house is indeed a house of prayer. This house of God is not to be understood to be limited to the physical Temple/Church. This house of God is more essentially you and I. Jesus reiterating the Prophet Isaiah (Isa. 56:7) says in Matthew 21:13 "It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'" By our way of life we must make conscientious and intentional effort to be a house pleasing to God and worthy of His presence. • Thur. Dec. 15th, 2022 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: COURAGE, YOUR HOPE IN GOD WILL NOT FAIL YOU.
TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Most often hoping on God, especially in situations that appear hopeless and irredeemable based on all available empirical evaluations and human intellectual judgments, seems to be a futile and foolish project. This, to a large extent, informs the call to euthanasia for instance. Today, God assures us that our hope in Him will not fail us. Kindly listen to today's episode of my podcast for details of today's homily.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. The GOD we serve is a righteous God. He takes notice of our life circumstances and, as our Saviour, he comes in His faithful love to save us. He's ever faithful and ever compassionate towards us, His children. In His righteousness He'll hear your cry for help and save you in your moments of need. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. The saying "opportunity comes but once" I'm sure is intended at emphasising the need to take due advantage of every opportunity that comes our way. God constantly comes to us in search of us with his free gift of grace. Every instance of your life is an opportunity to do the will of God. Resist not your moment of grace. • Sat. Dec. 10th, 2022 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO SAW THE DAYS OF ELIJAH.
TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Elijah prefigures Jesus Christ in a sense and as such the fulfilment of the hope and the answer to the prayer of the children of God. Those who see His days and have a realistic personal encounter of Him are truly the Blessed. You're opportunity to see and experience His days. Are you having a personal and realistic encounter of Him today? • Fri. Dec. 9th, 2022 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: TO WHAT SHALL I COMPARE THIS GENERATION?
TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. A generation that seeks to severe itself from God and operate without God's involvement in its day-to-day activities and policies is only heading for its own ruins. To truly succeed, we must give God His rightful place in all we do and be intent on doing and promoting his will. • Thur. Dec. 8th, 2022 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: BE A CHANNEL OF GOD'S SALVATION AND BLESSINGS.
TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Unlike Eve, the Blessed Virgin Mary was a channel of God's salvation and blessings. The former led us away from God out of the garden of Eden into condemnation and curse. The latter was the channel through whom we're led back to God's salvation and blessings in Christ Jesus. Today God calls us to imitate the Blessed Virgin Mary in this regard. • Wed. Dec. 7th, 2022 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: COME TO GOD AND HE WILL GIVE YOU REST.
TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Come to God with your burden, worries, anxieties, challenges, limitations, the troubles of your family, your church and your society and He will give you rest. The one reason Jesus Christ came into the world is that we may receive help and rest from God amidst our challenges. Jesus Christ himself assures us: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." (cf. Luke 4:18-19).
