Time to grow up spiritually, so stay in the Word of God. God calls us to be a holy priesthood to praise His name.

In times of crisis our trust and hope is in the Lord.

Every trial or crisis we may face, whether really small to a world wide pandemic, God tells us He is in control. The most precious thing we have is our faith in Jesus Christ.

Various trials will come, but we don’t live in anxiety, depression and fear - the FAD diet... We have joy in our faith Christ because these trials cause our faith, our dependency on Christ, to be stronger. A cord of three is not easily broken.

We are born again into a living hope. Our hope begins and ends with Jesus Christ. We need to live like we have already died with him.

God is sovereign over all time and events, even your very soul. He knows who are his, and we are saved only by Jesus Christ.

The return of Jesus Christ is referred to as “the day of the Lord”, and “in that day”. It is a final time of restoring the heavens, the earth and everyone who trusts God. Only in God can we find ultimate hope, mercy, love and forgiveness. Only in God can we find everlasting life. It’s faith in Him, with repentant hearts, that we find our strength and salvation. Only through Him, will we find justice and peace.

Joel refers to the Holy Spirit being poured out to us and for us. This passage quoted by Peter at Pentecost, when early Christians found themselves speaking in tongues and not knowing why. Our salvation depends solely on Jesus Christ and the gift of His Holy Spirit.

No matter how much disaster we may face, God will hear our prayers and answer. He is always acting to restore us, to make things new again.

Even in the presence of the worst disaster, the greatest tribulation then world will ever see, God still calls us to repent and trust Him for our salvation.
